Delete your data

Effective 25 October 2026

You can ask us to delete everything Hadi holds about you at any time. It is free.

How to ask

1. Email fawad.shah@upshifttechnologies.com with the subject “Delete my Hadi data” and the WhatsApp number you use with Hadi.
2. We will confirm it is you, for example by messaging you on WhatsApp.
3. We delete your data and confirm by email. We aim to do this within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What is deleted

• Your conversation with Hadi.
• Everything Hadi stored for you: accounts, transactions, budgets, tasks, reminders, notes, zakat records, invoices, files and generated documents.
• Your profile (name, email, WhatsApp number) and your access.
• Your Hysab Kytab account too, if you have one and tell us you want it deleted.

What may remain, and for how long

• Encrypted backups. Your data disappears from the live system straight away. Daily backups expire within 30 days. A monthly backup is kept longer; it is encrypted and used only to recover from failures. If you need it removed from backups too, tell us and we will handle it.
• Copies held by others. WhatsApp keeps your chat on your phone and, under its own policy, on its servers; you can delete the chat in WhatsApp. Our AI providers handle data under their own policies, listed in our privacy policy.
• Records the law requires us to keep, if any.
